Crash on signal 11

After much difficulty, I've gotten espgs-7.07.1 to compile and ghostscript appears to work correctly (the tiger image can be displayed). I've overcome the 'invalid font' issue with ghostscript. I have set up an HP 5000N printer using lpadmin, and now jobs sent to that via lpr crash on signal 11.

The OS is Solaris 9 for sparc, epsgs is 7.07.1, and CUPS is 1.2.0b1. I get the following in error_log for CUPS with 'LogLevel info':

I also have the output from 'LogLevel debug' but it's rather sizable (70k). Any help or suggestions anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
