CUPS 1.1.14 is ancient.  The current Xpdf-based pdftops in CUPS
1.1.22 is based on Xpdf 2.03 and has substantial changes compared
to the pdftops in 1.1.14 (which was based on a pre-1.0 version of
Xpdf).
