Attributes of type collection

Starting with 1.1.19, CUPS pretends to support collections, but I found
out
that collections values (i.e. the whole string from and including the
outermost "{"
up to and including the outermost "}") are stored as
"nameWithoutLanguage".

The consequence is that collection attributes are either ignored by the
respective
printer(s) or, worse, the print requests are rejected.

Are there any plans to fix this in the (very) near future?

PS: To illustrate that it is a real need for us are the cover options
for 
production printers that support in-line binding or stitching, like

cover-front={media-col={media-weight-metric=160,media-type=plain},cover-type=print-both}
