[cups.bugs] [CRIT] STR #1237: CUPS server could not be contacted

When I try to add a printer in Ubuntu 5.0.4 ("Hoary"), I get an "The CUPS
server could not be contacted" which is weird because I never set up a
CUPS server, per se. I looked at the client.conf and the cupsd.conf but
could not determine what needs to be changed.  Both files look unchanged
to me.  Very frustrating.
