The "old" NT4 kernel mode driver worked perfectly with Windows XP SP 1.
But on the
newly aquired systems (XP SP 2, everything else equivalent) we encounter
the following strange behaviour:

(1) All glyphs gets rendered as a bitmaps, i.e. all fonts are
output as Type3 bitmap fonts (subsetted, of course),
(2) Randomly scattered missing glyphs (the character images replaced
by white space); the screen display is OK.
Retyping one of these affected words often "repairs" the printout
of the other defects on the same page but uses to create new defects
    at other places.

Anybody else seen this weird thing and perhaps found a therapy?

Helge
