I had a similar problem a few months ago when we
megrated from CUPS 1.1.20 to 1.1.22.
It was a Lexmark T632 printer.
In the ppd file I changed the line
*JCLEnd: "@PJL EOJ<0A>@PJL LPORTROTATE<0A><1B>%-12345X"
into
*JCLEnd: "<1B>%-12345X at PJL EOJ <0A><1B>%-12345X"
