[cups.bugs] [MOD] STR #1224: undefined reference to `rpl_malloc'

Compiling espgs 8.15rc3 results in the stated error message.

Configure caused Makefile to be generated with -Dmalloc=rpl_malloc, but
rpl_malloc is not defined in the source. If I remove the
-Dmalloc=rpl_malloc from the Makefile, the make will succeed. The
resulting gs binary seems to run fine.

This is a Linux box running gcc 3.4.3 and glibc 2.2.5
