I think it is a WP bug. The PS job has 2 severe issues:
(1) It is NOT DSC compliant, which is required by CUPS. The setpagedevice statement here
	%%EndSetup
	<</DeferredMediaSelection true  /PageSize [612 792] >> setpagedevice
	%%Page: 1 1
    should be issued BEFORE the %%EndSetup comment line. 
(2) The logged PostScript error obviously is due to the fact that the selected printer
    neither supports nor ignores the DeferredMediaSelection keyword. Where does WP8 get this
    from?
