[STR New]

Hi

I am running cups 1.1.23 on my OSX machines as well as on the cups server.
The Problem exists with Kyocera-Mita FS-1010N devices, which are connected
to the cups-server via lpd and one KONICA MINOLTA magicolor 2450 also
connected via lpd.

if i add the (lpd-)devices directly to the cups on the osx machine as
generic postscript printers i can print from the mac os x gui software in
landscape-mode to the printers.

printers known to the osx machine via browsing can not print (via GUI) in
landscape mode.
it is possible to print in landscape if i just a2ps something to one
printer.
if i save the a2ps output to some file and print it via lpr -o landscape
i get the same behaviour as in the gui.

i think, both the gui-printing as well as a2ps rotate directly in the
ps/pdf, but when using the gui, the -o landscape option also gets set
(there is only one button causing both effects). while a2ps does not set
the -o landscape, the gui-printout gets doubly rotated.
