Mike,

OK, well I just rebuilt 2.1rc3 on Darwin and don't get any of the errors
that Till reported with my PPDs.  Either we gave him the wrong PPDs or
his build of cupstestppd is bad.

Um, the check is there to warn against the use of *1284DeviceId instead
of the standard *1284DeviceID. What exactly isn't working properly?

Can you attach a PPD file that isn't working with the current
cupstestppd?
