The check boxes only work reliably if you start with the standard
cupsd.conf file, not with customized cupsd.conf files. It does its best to
retain existing configuration info, but we can't ensure that because the
settings affect more than a single line in the cupsd.conf file.

In particular, the default policy will almost certainly get overwritten,
so you need to create a separate named policy or refrain from using the
check box interface.
