Short names for remote printers

With cups 1.2.2 I have to specify remote printers on the form printer at host for lpr/lpq to work properly, even if 'BrowseShortNames' is set to 'Yes'. Is this a feature or a bug, or am I overlooking something?

i.e this is what I get:

# lpq -PPrinter
lpq: Unknown destination "Printer"!

# lpq -PPrinter at server
Printer at server is ready
no entries

# lpstat -a
Printer at server accepting requests since mÃ¥n 21 aug 2006 12.47.12
