Hmm, I'll come up with a configure test, but all of the systems I've
tested with GSSAPI (Solaris, RH9, RHEL4, OSX 10.4.7) have this, some
via a define and some as an actual extern symbol.

Is there an easy pattern to this, e.g. something we can check for
at compile-time?
