Some jobs shift down and to the right when printing for Mac OS X

When printing from (but not necessarily limited to) Mac OS X (10.4.8) running CUPS 1.1.23 to a CUPS 1.2.7 server (also happened on 1.2.4) certain documents get shifted down and to the right by approximately 1.5 inches in both directions. This has happened with some PDF and Excel files to both a HP LaserJet 2430dtn and a HP LaserJet 4700dtn. Both printers use postscript. Any ideas?
