Because we cannot predict the interaction between PJL commands in
a PS data stream and the PJL commands in the PPD file.

If they are available in the PPD file, you can add cupsJobTicket
comments at the top of the PS file, e.g.:

    %!PS-Adobe-3.0
    %cupsJobTicket: someoption=somevalue
