Dell Laser Printer 3100cn PPD version 1.0 doesn't work for me.

I tried using the Dell Laser Printer 3100cn PPD posted in Dec. 2005, and it doesn't work for me across a network.  My printing looks like post-script garbage:

With several blank pages after that and me pounding on the the printer's CANCEL button.  It doesn't seem to matter which kind of connection I use, DirectJet, LPD, etc....
