[STR New]

I wanted to print pages 2-8 from a poscript file 4 pages per sheet and on
both sides.

To accomplish this i used:
/usr/local/bin/lp -o page-ranges=2-8 -o sides=two-sided-short-edge -o
page-set=odd -o number-up=4 file.ps

then turned the paper and issued:
/usr/local/bin/lp -o page-ranges=2-8 -o sides=two-sided-short-edge -o
page-set=even -o number-up=4 file.ps

What i got is:
Side one (printed pages 2-8, so there shuld not be page1)
| page 2 | page 3|
| page 4 | BLANK |

and on the other side:
| page 5 | page 6 |
| page 7 | page 8 |

Is the BLANK part is a bug? It seems the BLANK page should be left on the
othre side, after page 8. Or maybe I'm not using the correct option set?

The software:
cups-base-1.1.23.0
cups-lpr-1.1.23.0
on FreeBSD 6.1 system.

Best Regards
