HP DeskJet940C with ugly printouts

I used a HP DeskJet 3650 which worked fine with cups.
But now its damaged and so I got an older HP DekJet940C.

But cups prints out ugly on this printer. Its connected with USB (as the 3650 before).

I tried the gentoo cups and the Debian unstable cups 1.2.1. I tried several apps and the printer testpage within cups.

The Problem is always the same: Text is disturbed by stripes. On the top of the you can read the words. But the disturbance increases to the bottom of the paper.
After 5 cm - 10 cm you are not able to read the words.
In the cups testpage, the two wheels are printed well, othe relements are printed as ugly as I discribed before.

Its not a Hardware fault, because under Windows the printer works fine.
