SOLVED -- Re: [cups.bugs] Re: [LOW] STR #1519: socket URI with a port needs '/' suffix

It turned out to be a fonts issue.  Oddly, I cannot print the Test
Page, but I can print from Firefox and from Openoffice.org.

The Test Page gives me the following:

I have checked and it seems as though I have all those fonts.  Anyhow,
