When printing Greek text in Courier New (copied over from a Windows
installation), characters with accents (diacritics) are garbled. The
problem is present in the most recent stable version on ESP ghostscript
(8.15.3 at the time of writing), whilst the newest stable version of GNU
ghostscript (8.54) correctly renders the same file.
In order to print Courier New, I have temporarily replaced the ESP
binaries with the GNU versions. This seems to work, although it initially
caused problems until I copied fonts from ESP ghostscript into the GNU
ghostscript font directory (it seemed to ignore the GS_LIB environment
variable).
However, I'm sure that such a crude transplant will cause other problems
at some point, and it'd be great to have a fixed ESP ghostscript.
