How to install printer driver in Mac OS 10.2

The Apple printing list (http://lists.apple.com) is a much better
place to ask this sort of question.  In particular, auto-detection
and configuration of printers has changed/improved over the last
several Mac OS X releases, and the Apple folks there can give you
the details...
