[cups.bugs] cups-lpd[14667]: Unable to open temporary data file - File exists

This problem occurs for a remote queue from a Linux RedHat station :

% uname -a
Linux xxxxx 2.6.9-5.EL #1 Wed Jan 5 19:22:18 EST 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
% cat /etc/redhat-release 
Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS release 4 (Nahant)

With cups-1.1.22-0.rc1.9

To a Linux RedHat Server :

# uname -a
Linux yyyyyy 2.4.21-32.EL #1 SMP Fri Apr 15 21:02:58 EDT 2005 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
# cat /etc/redhat-release 
Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS release 3 (Taroon Update 5)

We have deleted and re-created the queue on both machines and still got the same error (including cups restarted).
Other queues between these two machines do not generate the same error.
