[STR New]

Hello Cups Team,

Im Using Cups 1.2.9 on (Gentoo) Linux.

I have a cups server for our SAP System. The SAP System can only LPD
printing, so i have the cups lpd minideamon running.
In version 1.1.x all is running fine.
In version 1.2.x if i want to print multiple copys,
only copy 1 is printed and then The printer is stoped with error
"/usr/libexec/cups/backend/ipp failed"

I have Traked this down to the folowing:
if i print multiple copys e.g.
lp -d P020 -n 4 testfile.pcl
with some backends (socket) works, with other (ipp) it dosn't work.

if i print multiple files e.g.
lp -d P020 testfile.pcl testfile.pcl testfile.pcl testfile.pcl
it works never --> means only file 1 is printed, then printing fails.
So far i can see, the backend is never started for the second file !

I attach a logfile of this.
I use RAW Queues, cups shuld only spool the pcl data from sap.

The same error was with older 1.2.x releases!

Please correct this bug. It's important for us.

Thank you, Daniel Heule
