General support is not available via the STR form. Please post to the CUPS
forums and/or mailing lists for general support.

Look at the MaxJobs directive, which limits the history as you'd like. The
default is 500 since 1.1.14 or so, it used to be 0 (unlimited) which would
cause that problem.

CUPS 1.2 and beyond cache the information and don't suffer from this,
either...
