[STR New]
The output created by pstops for numbered-up printing does not work for
PostScript generated by the paps text-to-PostScript tool.
paps output attached, altered so that cupstestdsc finds no problems with
it. I've also attached the output I'm getting from pstops, and a patch
file representing the changes that pstops made.
Running the pstops filter on its own like this:
/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstops 1 tim '' 1 'number-up=4 number-up-layout=lrtb
orientation-requested=4' paps.ps > ps.ps
gives a ps.ps that ghostscript does not like:
$ gs ps.ps
GPL Ghostscript 8.61 (2007-11-21)
