[cups.bugs] [LOW] STR #2403: removing foomatic-printers-ppd sloooows cups-driverd

On a Debian etch Linux distribution, installing then removing the
foomatic-filters-ppd induces a curious side effect :
when later modifying a printer via the cups web interface, the page which
presents the available models is very long to set in.
Looking at the running processes, it appears that cups-driverd is very CPU
time consuming.
Reinstalling foomatic-filters-ppd  makes more or less vanish the problem.
