cups filter for thrmal printer

hi,

i'm writing filter for my thermal printer based on CUPS in linux FEDORA 7, my printer supports ESCPOS Commands so i need to write a filter like rastertoepson.c

to my printer,but when i mentioned in my.drv file like

Filter application/vnd.cups-raster 0 rastertoepson

this option may not working b'coz when i try with this ppd file printer doesn't print anything so does anyone knows how to add custom filter with cups,please letme know.
