Hope you don't mind that I'm telling you this with a small smirk on my
face. :-)

cupstestppd fails in cups-1.3.9 for the following contributed ppd files:
epson24.ppd stcolor.ppd stcolor2.ppd stphoto.ppd stphoto2.ppd

I think you are able to test this easily at your side. :-)
