It's not AJAX, it's a simple multipart push implementation. That
said, we already provide checks for browsers that we know support it,
and gracefully fall back to a single (delayed) form. We could
certainly add a config file for the web interface to control whether
multipart is used, which would address your specific issue, or just
show the spinner image until we've collected all of the results (which
might be the simplest fix that doesn't have localization impact...)

We may end up reverting the current "tabbed" view since the current
Konqueror doesn't seem to handle it properly:
