[cups.bugs] [HIGH] STR #3433: Not printing in Fedora 12

I have stock gigabyte mb 2gig ram all 12 months old.
Geforce 8600gt video card on Fedora 12 new installation on an ide hd.
run Fedora 11 on one sata hd, and xp on a second sata hd 
Fuji Xerox C2100 colour lazer printer all works well in Fedora 11.

Installed the  PCL-DocuPrint-C2100.ppd from Fed11 to
/usr/share/cups/model/ in Fed12 which also has:
CUPS-PDF.ppd
pxlcolor.ppd
pxlmono.ppd
and
/foomatic-db-ppds
lsusb reports:
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0550:007b Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd

But neither the <system><Administration><Printing> function nor the
localhost:631 find the usb printer.

Need help please.
