[cups.bugs] [HIGH] STR #3338: BasicDigest authentication does not work

The BasicDigest authentication does not work somehow. Even if the
/etc/cups/passwd.md5 file contains the respective entry, one cannot
authenticate in CUPS. In the error_log (part is attached), the following
error appears:
E [21/Sep/2009:15:17:49 +0200] Authorized using Basic, expected Digest!

Attached is also the cupds.conf configuration. The OS is Debian.

The same problem appeared also in version 1.3.8, I've just upgraded to
1.3.11 to make sure it is not a version specific problem.
