[cups.bugs] [HIGH] STR #3339: BasicDigest authentication does not work

The BasicDigest authentication does not work somehow. Even if the
/etc/cups/passwd.md5 file contains the respective entry, one cannot
authenticate in CUPS. In the error_log, the following error appears:
E [21/Sep/2009:15:17:49 +0200] Authorized using Basic, expected Digest!

Attached is the configuration cupds.conf and part of the error_log. The OS
is Debian.

The same problem appeared also in version 1.3.8, I've just upgraded to
1.3.11 to make sure it is not a version specific problem.
