[STR Closed w/o Resolution]

That this worked in 1.3.x is entirely by luck - we have never supported the
printers you are using and likely never will. In particular, because you
are printing RAW PRINT DATA you MUST either specify the "-o raw" option or
configure CUPS to treat these files as application/vnd.cups-raw by creating
a MIME .types file for CUPS ("man mime.types"). You probably also want to
eliminate Foomatic from the equation since it does not support printing of
raw print data anyways - "lpadmin -p printername -m raw" is one way to do
this and will work as long as the file is getting recognized as an
existing MIME type.

Helge has asked you, via the CUPS cups.bugs forum, for files in the hopes
of helping you create a .types file that will work and/or figure out what
is going wrong with this particular combination. I strongly suggest you
take advantage of that assistance.

As I've mentioned in each of the bugs that you've filed and I've closed,
this is not a CUPS bug. Please remember that CUPS is distributed in the
hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the
implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Any help you get via the bug reporting form or the CUPS forums is provided
by VOLUNTEERS (yes, even me - I'm not paid to maintain cups.org or respond
in any way!) and so we can't guarantee that we can a) resolve your issue
or b) help you in any way. If you need guaranteed support you need to
purchase support from your OS vendor or some other third-party supplier of
CUPS support.
