For second issue:
Scenario to reproduce the issue
1. Take Ubuntu Linux OS installed system
2. execute "groups" command at terminal
3. check weather user is part of "lpadmin" group
4. Add user to "lpadmin" group, is user is not part of "lpadmin"
4. Add a Printer
5. From CUPS Web Interface, stop/start/pause/resume printer queue
Able to perform operation in step 5 successfully.
6. Now remove "lpadmin" group for user
7. Now restart the machine
8. Go to CUPS Web interface
9. Perform the operations in step 5, on the same printer queue
At this point user is not the part of "lpadmin" group
System asking for username and password for authentication.
even after given username as root, correct password for root user.
CUPS web interface is contentiously asking for Authentication.
