@mike you are so fucking DUMB, I write there, that it doesnt work w/
gutenprint, with vendor supplied (avasys was the site i downloaded it,
this pips or whatever is called) and on all drivers it does the same thing
w/ the old version it says OK OK printed successfully but the printer will
NEVER print. and that is the point!

of course the printer is supported, there is a PPD in gutenprint so there
is nothing wrong with the support but cups is sending the data to
/dev/null or so, i dont know, however, one thing is sure, cups is BROKEN
in any case.
