I have now 1.4.2 on the server and 1.4.1 on the client (ubuntu karmic) It took me a while to get the 1.4.2 version translated to solaris for now it works but there are no job file formats supported I am lacking the foomatic stuff probably (will fix that later)

My browsing problem stays the same though with this setup, I have

'DefaultAuthType Negotiate' in the server cupsd.conf

In the printers.conf file I use the 'AllowUser' policy

Sorry for the german output :( It says the print job is rejected because postscript is not a supported format.

What did I miss to suppress the browsing of the non-allowed printers ?
