c++ netbeans linux printing

hi,
i made a .ps file and i want to send it to cups. i added a cups.h but now i should add some library to my project in netbeans... what library? i've been looking for lcups but in usr/lib just found libcups.so.2 which broke my project after adding it. is it possible i have got corrupted installation of cups?
im using contos and all of cups packages was installed by yum.
