Offline printer

Hi,

One of my client have the following problem with a HP 2025n printer.
If they poweroff the printer as it is not used very often, they may still submit a print job. However when the printer is reconnect, the printer prints the image/document, but doesn't print the background colour.

How can I trace the problem? I would like to know if it is related to cups or the printer itself. I have tried this with 2 printers so it is not related to one printer.
