[STR Closed w/o Resolution]
So this should at least explicitly be mentioned in the manual pages.
Still, the behaviour is incorrect from a network view: If a host's _name_
is given, it should be resolved.
Why not have a correct behaviour as the default, and only cope with the
problematic case -- means: correctly try to resolve "localhost", and only
for cases where this resolution is impossible switch to the current
(incorrect) default behaviour _and_ issue a warning in the log file? This
would be much more common, and the additional, problematic case
(resolution of "localhost" is impossible) is covered as intended.
