OKI Data manufacturer string as a bad manufacturer name

Hi,

I would just like to ask if there's any chance to remove the checking for "Oki Data" string in cupstestppd.
The current tool will fail and prompt if we will use "Oki Data" as the manufacturer name.
This is a request from a vendor company and we will greatly appreciate if you can do something on this by removing the constraint on using "Oki Data" as the manufacturer string.

Also, we would like to ask for some history why this string is restricted.
