[STR New]

I'm using a Canon MP630 with Arch Linux, Cups 1.4.3 and the official
drivers provided by Canon.
When I try to print the first sheet after turning on the printer it fails
with the error message "Unable to write 8192 bytes to printer!" while the
printer is cleaning itself. A few lines are printed but then the printer
stops because it doesn't get any data.
After removing this first job and the paper I can print normally.
In different forums and bugtrackers I found other users with similar
problems (e.g. http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/18167). It seems to affect
also printers like Canon MP510, Brother HL-1440 and Samsung 2010.
Unless the error message above I couldn't find any useful information in
the log files. Please tell me, if I can help with any further information.
