First, the AuthInfoRequired directive is added by the smb backend, which is
part of Samba, not CUPS.

Second, you can't edit printers.con while cupsd is running - all of your
changes will be lost when cupsd next updates the file. Run the lpadmin
command to change the auth-info-required option ("negotiate" is what you
use for Kerberos, although the smb backend may tell cupsd to use something
different when you next print...)
