Accordingly with newsgroup cups.bugs discussion "delay in raw print after
upgrade 1.3.10 -> 1.4.6" at:

when printing to raw queue, there is noticeable delay several seconds
between queueing job and printing start.
Mike excellently explain this as cupsSNMPsupplies issue caused due to
absence PPD file in raw queue.
