AFAICT what I wrote applies at least to all versions from 1.4.4 to
1.5.3 inclusive, but the source that I grepped to discover the
fit-to-page option not documented in the lp man page was taken from

Linux.  I'm working with Slackware 13.37 and Debian Squeeze.  Although
I grepped the source for the current release, the CUPS installations
are as supplied by those distributions, 1.4.4 on Debian and 1.4.6 on
Slackware.

The Slackware man page for lp is dated 31 Aug 2010, that from Debian
is dated 17 Nov 2008.  Both man pages describe the 'fitplot' option,
but not 'fit-to-page'.
