FYI:

When we (i.e. openSUSE) upgrade to CUPS 1.6.x
we will add the OpenPrinting cups-filters package
so that those filters and backends which are moved
since CUPS 1.6.x to OpenPrinting will still be available
for future openSUSE products.

I made
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=735404
to deal with the incompatible changes in CUPS 1.6.x
in openSUSE.
