[STR New]

Hi,
We develop custom (print and fax) driver for MAC OS X. We do so by
developing PPD and filters.
We invoke our filter by using "*cupsFilter:
"application/vnd.cups-postscript 0
Library/Printers/Lexmark/filter/customFilter"" in ppd.

We want to disable the "Query Printer for Default Options" in cups
administration page for our Fax driver.
But could not find a option of doing the same from driver/ppd side.

Observation/Analysis:
We observed that in case of "AirPrint Fax" driver the option is disabled in
cups administration page.
After comparing with "AirPrint PPD" we observed that when "cupsFilter2"
(e.g.*cupsFilter2: "image/urf image/urf 10 -") is used the option is
disabled.

But if the source type is "vnd.cups-postscript" then "cupsFilter2" does not
disable the option. We need "vnd.cups-postscript" because our custom
filters have source type "vnd.cups-postscript".

Query:
1. How can we disable the "Query Printer for Default Options" for our
custom Fax drive in Cups admin page?
2. As observed from "AirPrint Fax PPD" it looks like using "cupsFilter2"
disables the option - Reason?
3. If "cupsFilter2" disables the option then why does not it work when
source type is "vnd.cups-postscript".

Thanks in advance.
