Sorry, not going to implement chain file support; the workaround
(concatenating the chain and certificate) will be the only supported path
going forward.

(I understand this may be disappointing, but we have 1 request for this
over the last 15 years of supporting SSL/TLS and the underlying APIs we use
do not always support the notion of separate PEM certificates and chains. 
Abstracting this and supporting separate chains on anything but GNU
TLS-based platforms would be extremely difficult...)
