HP Designjet 500PS + HP Deskjet 1220C PS

This is my first posting as I am desperate !

i) I have a brand new HP Designjet 500PS (attached to an external Jetdirect 500X) and have to get it working before term starts in the autumn...

I cannot locate a suitable PPD for this printer which I want to have in Postscript mode to avoid a multiplicity of drivers on my windows 2000 clients. I have searched via google etc and find a few Mac users looking also for the file, but nowhere to download one.

ii) Similarly I have an HP 1220C PS which is an A3 format deskjet printer, where I also can't find a PPD.


Yes I have the CD's for both printers and cannot find PPD's on either..

Any help would be appreciated as I want to run all printers with Postscript directly and to have accounting via Pykota.

Current Cups is 1.1.20 running on SuSE 9.1
