[cups.general] Does filters and instances the same thing ?

Hi again,

All is in the subject.

I can't cleary understand what are exactly instances and what
are filters.

I am configuring my CUPS such a way I can use different printing
setups (for the same printer device) but as I am missing this
point, I can't achieve this task.

Subsidiary question:

How can I have 2 sheets (of source code essentially) printed on
the same paper sheet in landscape orientation ?
