Hello!

just got my brand new epson Aculaser C4100 printer and threw it in as a
replacement of my old HP Laserjet 5...

unfortunately, and despite the webpage telling me that this printer
works perfectly, i couldn't get more as the autotest print pages....

strange enough, gnome-cups-manager tells me that the autodetected
printer is still the HP...

don't know how to trigger the autodetection once more...

anyway i set up the printer accordingly to the doc i found and now the
only printer i have in printers.conf is:
<DefaultPrinter AcuLaser-C4100>
Info AcuLaser-C4100
Location
DeviceURI parallel:/dev/lp0
State Idle
Accepting Yes
JobSheets none none
QuotaPeriod 0
PageLimit 0
KLimit 0
</Printer>

Sending data directly to /dev/lp0 yields an immediate response of the
printer.... alas it doesn't understand at least the postscript issued by
enscript....

there are no messages in the error log.. don't know what's going
wrong.... :(
